YB Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Exco Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation, together with Invest Kedah Berhad, represented by Mr. Noor Ikhsan bin Abd Aziz, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Abdul Muti bin Abd Hamid, Pre-Investment General Manager, and Mr. Mohamad Shaukhi bin Che Lah, Post-Investment General Manager, has held a working visit to Kulim Technology Park Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (KTPC) to follow the latest developments of KTPC and KTPC subsidiaries. Today, KTPC and KHTP have become high benchmarks for other states and countries. This is what will make Kedah more consistent in its progress.

After the joint session with KTPC, a work visit around the Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) industrial area was also held. KHTP has shown a good and proud development by KTPC, and KHTP will become the Greater KTPC in line with Kedah 2035.

Next, hold a discussion with En Yusuri Yusof, Executive Director, Kedah Industrial Skill and Management Development Center (KISMEC). Many improvement agendas were discussed together to prepare a skilled workforce to meet the needs of the industry.

Apart from that, a work visits to Kulim Advanced Technologies (KTechno), which is a subsidiary of Kulim Technology Park Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (KTPC). KTechno takes responsibility for holding courses and training for anyone who is interested in gaining knowledge in the form of technical skills. This is one of the state government’s efforts to ensure that the labour needs of the industry can be met by skilled local children.

Finally, held a meeting with Jazz Park, Kulim. Jazz Park, which will develop housing estates, hotels, shopping complexes, private hospitals, and more. If this Jazz Park is fully completed, Kulim will definitely be livelier, with residential areas and commercial activities here.
