Invest Kedah Berhad joined the delegation led by YB Dato’ Wira Dr. Ku Abd Rahman bin Ku Ismail, Kedah Senior Exco for Industry and Investment, Science, Technology, Innovation and Higher Education and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department Putrajaya visited the site of the Phase 1 E-Commerce Hub Project in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kubang Pasu District, Kedah Darul Aman by KT Express Logistics Sdn Bhd.

This project is a pioneer in the development of an e-commerce hub that conducts import and export activities of goods by road through the Malaysia-Thailand Border Gate in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah.

Invest Kedah Berhad participated in discussions with Syarikat Eastern Growth Sdn. Bhd. and Sungai Petani Kedah Municipal Council (MPSPK) on the issue of the transfer of Eastern Growth Sdn. Bhd. to Bukit Selambau, Kedah located at Wisma Darul Aman, Alor Setar.

Invest Kedah Berhad held a factory visit session at Mudim Zakaria Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. which is located in Pendang, Kedah.

The visit was attended by the Pre-Investment General Manager, Mr. Abdul Mu’ti bin Abdul Hamid, the Post-Investment General Manager, Mr. Mohamad Shaukhi bin Che Lah and the Director, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Kedah/Perlis, Mr. Mohd Rushdan Mohd Ghazali. to get an information session related to factory operations in addition to discussing issues involving improvements in the future.

Invest Kedah Berhad held a factory visit session to Al Haddad Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. which is located in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

This visit was also attended by the General Manager of Pre-Investment Operations, Mr. Abdul Mu’ti bin Abd Hamid.

This company operates in the manufacturing sector to produce Food & Beverage (F&B) based products with local and international product markets.

Invest Kedah Berhad has continued the factory visit session to YanFeng Malaysia Automotive Interior System Sdn. Bhd. which is located in Padang Meha, Kulim, Kedah. This company manufactures products related to the automotive sector by fully utilizing local workers.

In addition to receiving information related to the company’s operations, Invest Kedah Berhad also discussed the latest issues while assessing the positive impact on the local population.

Invest Kedah Berhad held a visit to Hx Akulbintang Sdn. Bhd. factory located in Kuala Ketil, Baling District, Kedah Darul Aman. The company that operates in producing animal feed pellets is a locally owned company with a local product market.

Apart from that, Invest Kedah has received information related to manufacturing operations in addition to discussing the process of making fish food and dog food and the function of each machine there.
