The session, attended by Mr. Azizuddin Anuar, the Investor Relations Manager of Invest Kedah Berhad, was organized to observe the company’s operations and discuss current issues.

Signing Ceremony for the Proposed Development of Langkawi Agro Park by Bioalpha Wellness Sdn. Bhd.
YB Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Exco Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation, representing YAB Menteri Besar of Kedah, who is also the Co-Chairman of LADA’s Board of Directors attended the signing of the agreement for Bioalpha Wellness Sdn. Bhd.’s proposed development of the Langkawi Agro Park, which will be built on PT506 and PT507, Kuala Sungai Melaka, Mukim Padang Matsirat, Langkawi.
Invest Kedah is represented by Mr. Abdul Muti bin Abdul Hamid, Pre-Investment General Manager, and Mr. Mohamad Shaukhi bin Che Lah, Post-Investment General Manager.
The building at Kuala Sungai Melaka will be converted into an eco-tourism park as part of the Langkawi Agro Park project, which will be built by Syarikat Bioalpha Wellness Sdn. Bhd. In addition to utilizing the idea of edutainment, this project will provide visitors with an opportunity to engage with agriculture and witness firsthand the process of producing herbal items or health supplements, starting from the farm and ending when the product is prepared for sale.
Through the use of this initiative, at least 50 different kinds of herbal plants will be introduced to tourists as part of a direct instructional process. Hope this project goes well and serves as a spur for further investment projects to be developed in Langkawi, Kedah.

Invest Kedah Berhad held a meeting with potential investors from China at Invest Kedah Berhad, Wisma Darul Aman, Alor Setar, Kedah. After the meeting, a site visit session was also organized as part of the briefing to the investors.
The Chinese delegation visited the Kedah Science Technology Park (KSTP) to gain a deeper understanding of the investment potential in the state of Kedah.
Emphasis was placed on infrastructure, technological innovation, and business opportunities available in the state. It is hoped that this visit will be a significant step in strengthening the business relationship between the two parties.

Invest Kedah Berhad participated in a factory tour at Intel Technology Sdn. Bhd., located in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kulim. The factory operates in the Electrical and Electronics industry, producing semiconductor devices for the international market.
This session was organized to observe and gain insights into the operational processes at the factory. Additionally, the meeting discussed current issues related to the company’s expansion projects.

The purpose of this visit is to observe the factory’s operations and gather additional information related to current issues. The factory visit session was also attended by the Investor Relations Manager of Invest Kedah Berhad, Mr. Azizuddin Anuar.

Site visit to factories in Kulim Hi-Tech Park
Invest Kedah Berhad together with the State Investment Services Agency (BPEN) and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) conducted strategic visits to outstanding sites in Kulim Hi-Tech Park. On the day, we visited Celestica Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Risen Solar Technology Sdn. Bhd., and Aixtron Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The purpose of this visit is to understand the latest needs and issues faced by manufacturers and then find a space for the state government, MIDA and related investment agencies to help.
This visit is one of the state government’s efforts to ensure that the welfare of investors who have invested in Kedah is safeguarded and that the issues faced can be resolved.

Invest Kedah Berhad participated in the 7th edition of the 2023 Selangor International Business Summit held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Invest Kedah Berhad used this opportunity to conduct networking sessions with industry players and provide information about investment opportunities in the state of Kedah.
The program was launched by the Chief Minister of Selangor, YAB Dato’ Seri Amiruddin Shari, and was attended by Mr. Noor Ikhsan bin Abd Aziz, Chief Operating Officer, and YB Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Exco for Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation, who were invited by the state of Selangor and visited the expo booth.
The Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2023 program aims to be a platform for local entrepreneurs looking to explore larger markets, especially within the ASEAN region, and to create opportunities to attract foreign investors into the healthcare sector and commercialize innovative academic products. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have also expressed their participation.

Invest Kedah Berhad, represented by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Noor Ikhsan bin Abd Aziz, along with the delegation from the State Government of Kedah, conducted a working visit to the construction site of the AT&S Malaysia factory located in Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) Kulim.
The Kedah State Government delegation, led by YAB Dato Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, included YB Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Exco for Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology & Innovation, Dr. Haji Nadzman Mustaffa, Deputy State Secretary (Management), Tuan Haji Mohd Zaini bin Haji Ramli, Kulim District Officer, and Dato Haji Elmi Yusoff, Chairman of the Kulim Municipal Council.
The delegation was welcomed by Ingolf Schroeder, Executive Vice President & Member of the Board of Directors of AT&S, Vittorio Villari, Managing Director of AT&S Malaysia, and Markus Sterba, Technical Project Director of AT&S Malaysia.
The Chief Minister received a briefing on the project’s progress from the AT&S team and exchanged views on the project and its future in Malaysia.
In addition, the delegation also visited the K1 production building, which is nearing completion in the first phase and is expected to commence operations in 2024.
Apart from Europe, AT&S currently operates in several locations in Austria, China, India, and South Korea.
