Invest Kedah Berhad organized a factory visit session to Ichen Industries Sdn Bhd located in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This manufacturing facility is involved in producing products for both the local and international markets.

The purpose of this visit is to observe the factory’s operations and gather additional information related to current issues. The factory visit session was also attended by the Investor Relations Manager of Invest Kedah Berhad, Mr. Azizuddin Anuar.

Invest Kedah Berhad together with the State Investment Services Agency (BPEN) and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) conducted strategic visits to outstanding sites in Kulim Hi-Tech Park. On the day, we visited Celestica Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Risen Solar Technology Sdn. Bhd., and Aixtron Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The purpose of this visit is to understand the latest needs and issues faced by manufacturers and then find a space for the state government, MIDA and related investment agencies to help.
This visit is one of the state government’s efforts to ensure that the welfare of investors who have invested in Kedah is safeguarded and that the issues faced can be resolved.

Invest Kedah Berhad has organized a visit to the company LITE Kable Sdn Bhd, located in the Sungai Petani Industrial Area, Kedah.

This visit was conducted to assess the current conditions and the company’s manufacturing operations, as well as to obtain information related to current issues. The visit was also attended by Invest Kedah Berhad’s Industrial Relations Manager, Mr. Azizuddin bin Anuar.

Invest Kedah Berhad, represented by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Noor Ikhsan bin Abd Aziz, along with the delegation from the State Government of Kedah, conducted a working visit to the construction site of the AT&S Malaysia factory located in Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) Kulim.

The Kedah State Government delegation, led by YAB Dato Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, included YB Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Exco for Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology & Innovation, Dr. Haji Nadzman Mustaffa, Deputy State Secretary (Management), Tuan Haji Mohd Zaini bin Haji Ramli, Kulim District Officer, and Dato Haji Elmi Yusoff, Chairman of the Kulim Municipal Council.

The delegation was welcomed by Ingolf Schroeder, Executive Vice President & Member of the Board of Directors of AT&S, Vittorio Villari, Managing Director of AT&S Malaysia, and Markus Sterba, Technical Project Director of AT&S Malaysia.

The Chief Minister received a briefing on the project’s progress from the AT&S team and exchanged views on the project and its future in Malaysia.

In addition, the delegation also visited the K1 production building, which is nearing completion in the first phase and is expected to commence operations in 2024.

Apart from Europe, AT&S currently operates in several locations in Austria, China, India, and South Korea.

Invest Kedah Berhad, with YB Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Exco for Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation, held a meeting with the Kulim Industrial Tenants Association (KITA) at KISMEC Kulim. The KITA delegation was led by Mr. Chong Nee Hwa, the Vice President of KITA, and the Executive Director of Fuji Electric.

Invest Kedah Berhad was represented by Mr. Noor Ikhsan bin Abd Aziz, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Abdul Muti bin Abdul Hamid, General Manager Pre-Investment, and Mr. Mohamad Shaukhi bin Che Lah, General Manager Post-Investment.

The meeting session began with an introduction to KITA and the activities carried out by KITA, including community and CSR activities. They also took this opportunity to discuss issues that are of concern to ensure the smooth progress of planned developments.

The visit session attended by the Pre-Investment General Manager, Mr. Abdul Mu’ti bin Abdul Hamid and the Post-Investment General Manager, Mr. Mohamad Shaukhi Che Lah was given an explanation related to the company’s operations and plans, especially related to the company’s development opportunities.

Invest Kedah Berhad organized a factory visit session to Sime Darby Auto Module Sdn Bhd and Sime Darby Auto Interior Sdn Bhd in Padang Meha, Kulim Kedah. The companies involved in the manufacturing sector produce a variety of products for the local market.

This visit session was conducted to obtain a briefing on the company’s operations, as well as to explore the company’s development potential. Employing local workers for its operations, both Sime Darby Auto Module Sdn Bhd and Sime Darby Auto Interior produce vehicle hardware products.

The visit was also attended by Mr. Azizuddin bin Anuar, the Investor Relations Manager of Invest Kedah Berhad.

Invest Kedah and Qew Group Berhad held a discussion session with Invest Kedah Berhad represented by Mr. Noor Ikhsan bin Abd Aziz, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Abdul Muti bin Abdul Hamid, General Manager Pre-Investment Officer, and Mr. Mohamad Shaukhi bin Che Lah, General Manager Post-Investment Officer. The company in the manufacturing sector is involved in producing products including fabricated metal products, precision machined parts, metal enclosures, and jigs & fixtures, with 100% of the products marketed for the local market.

This visit was conducted to observe the current operational conditions and opportunities for operational development, as well as to see the positive impact on the local workforce. This visit session was also attended by Mr. Azizuddin bin Anuar, the Investor Relations Manager of Invest Kedah Berhad.
