The new investment in Kedah has marked this year as a significant milestone with the opening of the Techvance Industries Sdn Bhd. factory in Gurun, Kedah Darul Aman. The company has invested a capital expenditure (capex) of RM50 million in land, factory buildings, machinery, and infrastructure in the Gurun Industrial Area, Kedah, covering 11 acres with a total area of 150,000 square feet.
Currently, the factory operates with approximately 160 local staff and workers. The opening event of this factory was officiated by the Honourable Datoβ Wira Dr. Ku Abd Rahman Bin Ku Ismail, Senior Member of the Kedah State Government Meeting, Chairman of the Committee on Industry & Investment, Science, Technology & Innovation, and Higher Education in Kedah, witnessed by Mr. Noor Ikhsan bin Abd Aziz, Chief Operating Officer of Invest Kedah Berhad.
The top management of Techvance Industries Sdn. Bhd. was present at the event, including Datoβ Lau Foo Loy, Chairman of Techvance Group, Mr. Toh Tuan Sun, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Techvance Industries Sdn. Bhd., and Mr. Eugene Lau Han Wan, Executive Director of Techvance Industries Sdn. Bhd.
