Ferrotec Holdings Corporation has announced the development of a new manufacturing facility at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.

The plant, which will undertaking electromechanical assembly and advanced material fabrication for semiconductor equipment is designed to meet customer needs while also expanding the Group’s business globally.

This factory is expected to start operating in 2023. With a total investment expected to exceed RM500 million with a facility area of over 80,000 square feet.

The project is expected to create about 250 high-value jobs for Malaysians with the company having committed to providing training to Malaysian workers at factories in Japan and the United States.
